About Surgery Center of Ophthalmologists Krefeld
The Surgery Center of Ophthalmologists Krefeld at Weyerhofstraße 67 has been performing surgical procedures in a new, modern surgery center since January 2024. Focus areas include cataract surgery (also with femtosecond laser), intravitreal injections (IVOM) for macular degeneration and retinal diseases, as well as minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). Dr. med. Thomas Kim, FEBO and Priv.-Doz. Dr. med. Maurice Schallenberg lead the center with over 3,000 eye surgeries per year.
