About Alfried Krupp Hospital
The Alfried Krupp Hospital is a foundation hospital of the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation with two locations in Essen-Rüttenscheid and Essen-Steele. It is an academic teaching hospital of the University of Duisburg-Essen and has 575 beds in Rüttenscheid as well as additional capacity in Steele. The 11 departments offer treatment at the highest medical level with certified centers including neurovascular medicine, oncology, vascular medicine and endoprosthetics.
