About Department of Dermatology, University Hospital Essen
The Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology of the University Hospital Essen is a university outpatient clinic with 68 beds on three wards. Focus areas are the certified skin tumor center at the West German Tumor Center, diagnostics and therapy of skin tumors, the center for HIV, AIDS, proctology and venereal diseases, the wound outpatient clinic as well as the section for plastic and reconstructive surgery. The outpatient clinic with open and referral consultation hours as well as numerous specialized consultations (psoriasis, dermato-oncology, proctology, light therapy) is located in the Holsterhausen district and is accessible by public transport and car.
