About Day Hospital at Friesenplatz
The Day Hospital at Friesenplatz is a private clinic for psychiatry and psychotherapy in the heart of Cologne. It offers day hospital treatment with 30 therapy places on three wards in two buildings, with a focus on depression, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, trauma-related disorders, burnout and personality disorders. The programme includes high-frequency individual psychotherapy (4 x 50 min/week), cognitive behavioural therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, EMDR, creative therapies and biological procedures such as rTMS, deep TMS and ketamine infusions. The facility is eligible for civil service health benefits and recognised by the Association of Private Health Insurers.
