About LVR Hospital Cologne
LVR Hospital Cologne is a modern specialist hospital for psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychosomatic medicine and an academic teaching hospital of the University of Cologne. It provides psychiatric care for around 510,000 citizens of Cologne. With 402 inpatient beds and 140 day hospital places, approximately 10,000 patients are treated each year. Treatment takes place at the main site in Cologne-Merheim and locally at the branches in Cologne-Mülheim, Cologne-Chorweiler, Cologne-Bilderstöckchen and in the forensic psychiatry unit in Cologne-Porz.
