About Essen Back Pain Centre
The Essen Back Pain Centre is a specialised facility of the University Department of Neurology at University Hospital Essen. It offers interdisciplinary, multimodal pain therapy for patients with chronic back pain. Treatment is carried out in close cooperation with the departments of neurosurgery, orthopaedics, anaesthesiology, psychosomatics and psychiatry. The centre combines physiotherapy, medical training therapy and pain psychotherapy for sustainable improvement in quality of life.
