About Neurovascular Center Sana Hospitals Duisburg
The Neurovascular Center at Sana Hospitals Duisburg is a highly specialized facility for vascular diseases of the brain and spinal cord as well as brain-supplying vessels. The departments of neurosurgery, neurology and radiology/neuroradiology work together with vascular surgery and cardiology. There is a DSG-certified supraregional stroke unit with 10 beds, treating approximately 1000 stroke patients annually. Diagnostics and mechanical thrombectomy are offered around the clock, 365 days a year.
