About Department of Ear, Nose and Throat Medicine, Head and Neck Surgery
The university ENT department in Essen is a maximum care hospital with 76 planned beds and almost 4,000 procedures per year. Focus areas are tumour diseases, cochlear implant provision, sleep medicine, phoniatrics and paedaudiology as well as the West German Morbus Osler Centre. State-of-the-art equipment and interdisciplinary surgery enable treatment of highly complex head and neck diseases at Essen University Hospital.
